As an over protective dog owner I always worry and wonder what my dogs are up to whilst i’m out. If only I could phone them up and talk to them to check they’re ok but they just don’t talk back! So we’ve been testing out the Furbo Dog Camera and I can worry no more!
By downloading the app on your phone you can check on your dogs wherever you are as long as you have access to the internet. Not only can you watch, record or photograph your dogs on the cameras livestream, but you can also talk to them through the microphone or fire out treats.
Unlike other cameras, the Furbo sends you a notification when your dogs are barking. Hopefully it’s just at the postman or a passing neighbour, but if it goes on for longer you might realise they have separation anxiety and have always barked when you’ve left but you’ve never been near enough to hear.
It doesn’t end there, once you’ve gone to bed you can still check up on them [That’s if they’re not sharing your bed!]; because in darkness the camera switches to infra red, so you don’t miss out on anything. There’s nothing like being a total crazy dog lady and watching your dogs sleep through your phone.
There’s no long process to setting it up filled with frustration and instruction manuals. You simply plug the camera into the mains, connect the app to the camera via bluetooth and connect to the nearest wifi ⇒ then you’re ready to go! The camera itself isn’t too big or bulky like others I have used, and the modern look means it blends in well with furniture.
Tiny treats are easy to fill up the camera which then fire out, 2 or 3 at a time. This can take your dogs by surprise so make sure you do it a few times whilst your home and praise your dogs to show it’s not scary.
This camera is a number 1 best seller on Amazon, it is usually £249, however at the minute it is on sale for £199 so buy yours here whilst you can.
