St Ives

Long time no see. Autumn really is the busiest time of year for a photographer & I’m so sorry for neglecting the blog over the past month! We’ve been up to so much, I thought we’d share a little bit about our latest Cornwall adventure.

Last week we headed down to St Ives in Cornwall for a lovely week away. We visit this haven at least once every year and it never disappoints. Even with the threat of Storm Brian the sun shines & the sea is a beautiful turquoise.

We stay in a variety of dog friendly cottages and apartments, it gets harder to find them now that allow two dogs instead of one. I booked a lovely cottage that allowed both of them, it was everything we needed but was certainly more dogs allowed rather than dog friendly as the dogs weren’t allowed upstairs or on any of the furniture [Since when was “no dogs on the sofa” a real rule haha].

Woody & Wilma were in absolute heaven, each day consisted of them running around enjoying at least 5 different beaches. They of course managed to get sand absolutely everywhere and mixing it in with the sea meant a lot of combing for Wilma!

It’s so nice to get away and let the dogs be themselves. No training each day, no posing for the camera – just them running around enjoying themselves and me capturing it with my camera.

We’re back home now & working on lots of festive projects. Stay tuned for lots of Christmas content over the next month 🎄

Thank you for reading,

Megan, Woody & Wilma
